Supply and Install a Split System Air Conditioning System
After we inspected the premises we determined that a Daikin 2.0kW inverter split system would deliver enough power to heat and cool the small room. The property was weatherboard and we could place the outdoor unit on a poly slab next to the room. We would mount the indoor system high on the wall. The outdoor and indoor air conditioning units were only 3 metres apart which would save on the electrical cabling. Once we had the air conditioner installed we ran through our testing checklist to make sure the system was connected properly. We pressure tested the system which gave us a positive result.
Finally, we set the air conditioner temperatures and settings to the customer’s preference.
Daikin 2.0kW air conditioner features
- When a room is idle for twenty minutes, an infrared human presence sensor helps avoid cold drafts and activates energy-saving features.
- The purpose of discharge louvres is to direct air upwards along the ceiling for extended throws, resulting in quick cooling and even temperature distribution throughout the inhabited area.
- The quiet mode on Daikin’s Cora reduces operating noise levels to 19dBA (20, 25, and 35 class models) to provide a more peaceful heating and cooling experience.
- The deodorizing air purification filter made of titanium apatite captures tiny particles, breaks down smells, and even deactivates microorganisms.
- The next generation of refrigerants, R32, has a “Global Warming Potential Factor” that is 66% lower than R410A, reducing the possibility of environmental damage.
- Features a back-lit wireless remote controller with precise temperature set point adjustment in 0.5°C increments and a built-in count up-down ON/OFF timer for quick set and forget operations.
